We have several customers with multiple locations. Locations have specific contacts and customer configurations. Want the Support team to have the ability to quickly look up location by location and have the ability to see contacts and specific information based on the location.

What is the best way to handle this in HubSpot? In other CRMs I have used I had a Parent / Child relationship but not sure how it works in HubSpot.

Hi @PHernandez8,

Parent child relationships are an option in HubSpot as well and typically used to fulfill this type of requirement: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/add-a-parent-or-child-company

Alternatively, HubSpot also allows for associating companies with companies directly (in the right sidebar of a company record) and to give that relationship a name: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/create-and-use-association-labels

You could use company-to-company-associations and labels to associate each location to the main location. This would require a Professional or Enterprise subscription. It looks like you're on the Starter license so the parent child relationships are your best option, in my opinion.

Best regards!

Karsten,

Thank you this was very helpful and I have been able to set up customers using the Parent/Child relationship.

Paul
