All,

I've searched other similar posts and they don't really cover what we do. We provide a variety of services to customers and we're looking for a way to collect and import data collected on a Google Form and link it to a Contact. We are using the free version of Hubspot at the moment.

I've read others about having each item linked to an attribute within Hubspot, but that is too cumbersome and isn't applicable to each and every customer we have. For an example, imagine an entire house, and we provide services on everything. Customer 1 may ask for a new dishwasher while customer 2 may say that they need new siding installed with white paint.

Most of these form responses are long text as well as some attachments. We don't need to necessarily link each and every potential option to a field in HS, but would rather just capture that information and link to the contact. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated.

Hi @RPAutomate you can either create a single line text property or rich text property to capture the form information.

If you want to link out to the full form, I would create a single line text property where you can copy/paste the response link from the contact's form submission.

If you want to pull specific answers, using a rich text property will let you have formatted information that you can add.

Another option would be to add their form response to the activity feed as a note (and pin it) so you can refer to it any time.

A more complex solution would be to surface their form response as a CRM card where the results of the form are viewed directly in the middle pane of the CRM record.

Hey @RPAutomate,

Another option could be to

Create a Google Sheet for the Form: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/139706?hl=en-GB#zippy=%2Cview-all-responses-in-a-spreadsheet

Create a simple Google Form to HubSpot Zap: https://zapier.com/apps/google-forms/integrations/hubspot/11028/create-hubspot-contacts-from-new-google-forms-responses

Link the Google Sheet with the form responses to the HubSpot contacts

We also have an app which can create a PDF of Google Doc with the Form response content. You could create a PDF of Google Doc with the form respnse and add the document link to the HubSpot contact?

Please give me a shout if you'd like more details.

Cheers,

James
