So I have signed on for SalesHub for 2 seats and to manage my duplicate contacts, I need to purchase an Operatiions Hub?

Why can't the Contacts in Sales Hub just manage themselves?

you can manage (manually) your duplicated

from here

Operations Hub is to perform massive actions like Standardize capitalization in names

and other stuff.

You can also use 3rd party tools like Deduply

to create rules to clean your duplicate contacts.

Hi @TRossi,

Your users should be able to access the deduplication tools without Operations Hub and without the current paid sets by following these instructions: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/deduplication-of-records#manually-deduplicate-contacts-and-companies-professional-and-enterprise-only

That way, they can review duplicates one by one and decide which one should continue as the leading record, merging the other one into it.

For bulk deduplication, Operations Hub Professional or Enterprise is needed, correct. In that case, third-party service providers like Dedupely or Insycle can be a cheaper alternative.

Here is a quick breakdown of our Merge Duplicates module, and how it can help:

Deduplicate your database in bulk using specific filters
Use any field in your database as a potential duplicate matching field (unique ID field) to catch more duplicates.
Bundle Insycle templates together into a Recipe (individual templates could identify duplicates in different ways), and add the Recipe to your HubSpot Workflow.
Set rules for determining the master record that duplicates will all merge into or retaining data down to the individual field level.
Preview your deduplication runs to see how they work and ensure accuracy.
