Urgent - Import contacts and associate to existing companies

Hi,

We have an existing companies on HubSpot, we have a list of contacts we want to upload to hubspot, and I did not figure out how to import the Contacts and add a column that automatically will associated those contacts to a Company (Primary Associated Company)

See the last column for the Company ID to associate with the new Contact:

Please if you can show me step by step how to do this with screenshots becuase I haven't found a way to do this (and we need to consider that we not alway using the Company Domain)

I can't mess with existing companies records, just want to upload new contacts.

Hi @OBetzalel,

If you have the company record ID in a column, this should be pretty straight forward. You would do the following:

Set up the import wizard in HubSpot for importing multiple objects (contacts / companies) in one file
In the mapping process, make sure to map the record ID column.
Map the remaining columns to contact properties.

Hi @OBetzalel,

If you're just mapping the company Record ID, you're effectively not importing any company information. 'Update existing Companies only' is fine but it wouldn't matter. There isn't anything you're importing into the company object, you're just mapping the ID.

Whenever you're unsure, simply start with importing the first 100 rows – instead of going for the full 5,000, 10,000 or 100,000.

This has been changed by Hubspot and no longer works. What's the best way now to link Contacts to existing companies?
