In the basics of a database, a field is primarily linked to a single object. Personally I tend to work more in Salesforce environments where I have the option to use a reference field type to create a relationship between the two and show that property on the other object. In Hubspot this type doesn't exist so you could use workflows as a workaround to copy the data from a Deal property to a Company property, but I would ensure that property is not editable by users so that it doesn't lead to other issues.

I've created a custom property under deal information but I'd like it to show in both deals and companies, not just deals? At the moment when I try to add to the company view it won't show as it is a deal property?
