Is it possible to get notifications for live chats, even if it's been assigned to another person in my team?

Yes, you can be notified about new unassigned conversions (before they get assigned to anyone). The instructions are laid out here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/settings/how-to-set-up-user-notifications-in-hubspot

After navigating to Settings > Notifications, find the Chat and email conversations section and check these boxes:

But the questions was about notifications that have been assigned to
someone else in my team, can I get notifications for all chats, no matter
the status of them?

Hi @hannalindquist,

Are you in some way immediately assigning chats? If not and as long as they're unassigned even for a brief moment, the settings should work.

There aren't any settings for chats that are automatically assigned I'm afraid.

And is it then possible to change the settings from assigning immediately
to a specific person? We couldn't find that when we looked into our account.

Not as far as I know, unfortunately. Have you tried enabling the notifications as linked earlier to see how it behaves?

Yes, that's been the issue unfortunately that people have missed the notifications due to it being automaticlly assigned to the "wrong" person in the team.
