Hi @BAfia,

You could use a third-party app to document this, yes, but generally HubSpot offers a variety of tools to accomplish this natively.

The best option is custom report creation. If you're on the free CRM, this is unfortunately not accessible.

The next best thing would be list creation: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/create-active-or-static-lists

For example, for your goal of connecting with five new people, you could create a list of contacts with "Create date is this week" AND "Contact owner is any of Me". On Friday, you could check whether that list has at least 5 contacts.

For the other goals, you might have to log notes on the contact records to identify them accordingly. In lists, you can filter for Activity properties which include notes. If you log a note to a contact that says "Reaching out to an old contact", you can then again filter for "Note body contains 'Reaching out to an old contact'" AND "Create date is This week".

If this is too involved, any third-party solution or note taking app would of course also work. But HubSpot tracks a lot for you automatically and it would get you into the habit of better understanding your data entry and how you can also leverage it.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!

Is it possible to track sales and marketing habits with Hubspot?

I have weekly sales/marketing activity targets for myself:
-contact 1 old contact
-connect with 5 new people
-comment 5x on other LinkedIn posts

-write 2 Linkedin posts

I'm looking for a way to tick these off so I know at the end of the week I've maintained regular contact. Ideally, at the end of the month I can pull off a report eg how many contacts I made.

I'm looking at habit tracker apps like Everyday, Confetti Habits and Habits, but they're all aimed at lifestyle habits.

Asana tracks OKRs/business goals but is more complicated.

Can Hubspot help?

Thanks @karstenkoehler. Hubspot does sound a little involved. I want to track my activity on LinkedIn as well as calls etc. And for 'LinkedIn comments' I won't have a contact to associate that with. So I think a habit tracker app might be simpler.
