Multiple column sort on Deal Views.

I would like to be able to sort on multiple columns in the deal views.

When working with the pipeline, I would like to show the multitude of deals based on stage, probability, revenue, last contact date, etc.

Right now, I can only sort by clicking on a single-column heading. This is great for presenting to the board to give them a sense of priority/probability.

Are you using the deal board view or the deal list view? The deallist view will allow you to add any deal properties that you want as columns and then sort the table accordingly. It is toggled at the top of the deal pipeline page:

It sounds like you're trying to further narrow down your deals from there. You aren't able to sort a single view by multiple column options, but you can apply deal filters as needed. For example, you could add a deal filter to pull in only specific deal records (i.e., priority = high, create date = this year, deal amount > $5,000) and then sort the records by last contact date or whatever is relevant.

Depending on the specific data you need to present, you may also be able to create deal reports that identify deals with high priority or probability.

Jacob - thank you for the response.

As you identified, I would love to have the ability to do a multi-column sort on the Deal List. For example, with xls I can "sort" on multiple columns and use it to rank deals. I do this to make sure the deals that require the greatest optics are at the top of the list.

I would value departing from xls as it breaks the integrity of the fresh data stored in the database. But it is a useful technique.

I would like this for reports and views. For example in deals, i want to sort by:
- Company
- Deal

For a cusom deal & task report, i want to be able to sort by
- Deal name
- Task due date

Filtering does not help this scenario

Hey Jolle, thanks for taking the time to respond here. The workaround you outlined is helpful for the time being.

That said, it does feel like this is a fairly fundamental capability that a lot of teams rely on when managing a pipeline. Being able to sort by multiple columns is pretty core to how many companies prioritize deals and track pipeline health.

Right now, the limitation of only sorting by a single column makes it much harder to effectively analyze and prioritize deals within HubSpot. For us specifically, it’s becoming a meaningful friction point in using the pipeline view as our primary sales management tool.

Is this functionality currently on the product roadmap, or something the team is considering building in the future? Understanding that would help us determine whether to continue building our workflows around HubSpot or explore alternative solutions that provide more flexibility.

Appreciate any insight you’re able to share.

Ideas posted in this forum are seen and reviewed directly by our product team regularly, and this is the best way to raise feature requests and increase the chance it will become a feature in the future, as well as receive updates on any future developments.
