How do I block spam contacts

Recently, I've had numerous email being added to my contacts list. These are all from the same domain (qq.com). I haven't engaged with any of these contacts at all so, they're clearly hackers/spammers.

How do I block this domain and report them as spam?

Hi @futuretoolbox,

Are you referring to form submissions? If so, you can block free email providers (or specific email domains), by opening the form in the forms editor. Click into the email field and you should see the option to block email domains in the left sidebar that pops up.

If there added through other sources, a paid Professional subscription is needed for automatic deletion through a contact based workflow.

Thank you for the reply.

I'm not sure where the contacts are coming from. I don't have any forms set up with Hubspot.

These are just appearing in my contacts. I can't seem to find a way of reporting them as spam.

Hi @futuretoolbox,

You need to first check where these contacts are coming from – there is no general option to mark a contact as spam.

Can you look up the values for Original source, Original source drill-down 1 and Original source drill-down 2 for these contacts? (open contact, click "View all properties" in the left sidebar)

Please share a screenshot of what you see.

Aha, that's really helpful, thank you.

I can see they're coming from my MailerLite list. That's the original source.

The next step would be to add some kind of spam filter to MailerLite I guess. I'll contact them.

I am getting about 30 emails or forms each week and need to be able to block the exact email that they are being sent from. Blocking the domain or @gmail.com or outlook.com will not work as I get valid emails. There should be a drop-down when you open the contact under actions stating block this email address.

What can you do for me, or what is the solution?

How can I do it if I want to just block an email (not an entire domain)?
