In the contact object, there are certain fields to capture sequence activity. So want to reflect those sequence activity dates from the contact object to the Company object and I created some fields for those values to capture. I know that if we create a workflow to copy that date value from contacts and paste into the company object if that contact does any sequence activity after I'll be on the workflow.

Will that workflow work, if I want to capture past sequence activity from those contacts, once I turn on the workflow?

That depends on what exactly you want that workflow to do and what the enrollment criteria look like. Could share a screenshot of the workflow?

When you update such a date property value, what would you like to happen if you add a value in the past or in the future?
