Considerations When Merging HubSpot portals

A few months ago I came across a document that my US colleague Kit Lyman put together and I fell in love with the layout. I piggybacked on her amazing resource and built it out to include all of the different elements that need to be taken into consideration when you are looking at merging multiple portals. Internally I have received great feedback from many different teams and I wanted to bring it to our customers!

There is now an app in the HubSpot App Marketplace called the HubSpot to HubSpot Portal Migrator.

This data migration tool automates to process of migrating data from one HubSpot portal to another. The app uses HubSpot APIs to automatically migrate CRM data from one HubSpot portal to another HubSpot portal.

Thanks for post. Does your tool create the custom properties from the portal that has to be imported into the ongoing portal?

@MortenL Stepping in for John here. Yes! It will create custom properties from the source portal. You can review all the custom properties scenarios in the "Migrator functions" table on this page.
