Display details of the last activity in the tabular view

Hello.

In the contacts and companies table view, is there a possibility to view the details of last communication or last activity?

In the table view, currently, I am able to see last contacted or last activity date.

But when I log a call or a note for a client, I'll add a brief description of what was discussed. I want the field to show briefly what happened in the last communication/activity.

Hi @AK12,

This is not possible – the index pages (Menu > Contacts > Contacts / Companies) only show information stored on the contact or company record. They can't show anything that is stored on a different object (e.g. an activity).

In case you're storing this information in a contact property (as opposed to logging a note, email, call), then yes, you can include this property as a column on the contact index page by clicking Actions > Edit columns. (I wouldn't recommend switching from logging activities to a contact property however. This means that many default reports and filters won't work anymore. This would only be a feasible option if you're already doing this.)

In a Professional subscription it's possible to create custom table reports to include activity information alongside contact information. In the free CRM, however, this is unfortunately not possible.
