Sequence Opens List

Hello! I've been using Hubspot for quiet some time now. In our company, I'm the one organizing the lists. Now when we do marketing campaigns, I am able to create a list of people who opened the marketing email. But when we do the sequence, I am unable to do the same thing. I have to manually add the people who opened the sequence email to a list and it's taking so much time as sometimes we would enrol bulk of contacts. We're talking about thousand here. Is there something you can do about this? I hope you can have the option to create a list out of opens to the sequence too.

Hi @tpon yes, you can create a list based on sequences, you'll need to add a filter for Sequence Enrollment:

and then choose one of the available properties:

Tried this several times and already talked to 2 Hubspot tech guys but they said what I want is not yet applicable with a sequence. They asked me to bring this up here so this can be. added to the feature.

@tpon what criteria are you trying to use to build the list? Just about every sequence property is available, so I'm curious what's missing?

I would like to build a list of people who opened the sequence email out of a specific sequence.

@tpon ah ok, so to clarify, you want to isolate who opened a specific email in a specific sequence?

Using a workflow, it's possible to isolate who was enrolled in a specific sequence, but you're right, there is no way to isolate the specific email.

Like the originator of this request, I am looking to not create a list of who was enrolled, but who actually opened the sequence. We typically do one email sequences so the sales team can send out a new product/service message. We would like to see who opens those sequence emails and put them in a new list to do some ort or targeted follow up on.

@THuber From the List, change the filter type to Sequence Enrollment:

and you'll find a filter for Opens and Latest Open - would that give you the data you're looking for?

If you use this in combination with the filter for Sequence, you could isolate the specific sequence and whether they've opened the email.

There was an overhaul to the list filters, I'm not sure if this was added between now and then, but hopefully it gives you the results you want 🙂

OK trying it now, I think I did it right, see my screenshot:

What I would really like to see is that when you are in the Performance tab of a specific sequence, I can click on the % number of opens and clicks. From right there on that popup screen, it would be nice to export that view to a list. This would make it super easy. Like here:

Hi @THuber that's a great idea - I'd also love to be able to generate a list directly from the report, I recommend adding it as an idea here.

Hi,

This super simple feature still isn't a thing. I don't know why you can show me everyone who has opened a sequence, but I can't export the contacts as a CSV from the Sequence Reporting fields, or make an active list with "Sequence email opneed" like I can for marketing.

This is never going to happen is it?

I can definitely understand the need for this feature, so I looked to see if any other Community users have already requested this in our Ideas Forum. I was able to find this submission, which I recommend upvoting. I realize it's not an immediate fix, but it is important for our Products Team to see the need here.
