One way to track ecommerce transactions in HubSpot is to set up an integration with your ecommerce platform, such as Shopify or Magento. This will automatically create a deal in HubSpot for every transaction and can be set up to include the necessary details, such as the product, quantity, and revenue. Another option is to use a third-party tool, such as Zapier, to connect your ecommerce platform with HubSpot and create deals automatically.

If you are not able to integrate with your ecommerce platform, and you are manually entering sales into HubSpot, you can create a custom report to track your transactions. This can be done by creating a report that shows the total revenue, number of transactions, and other relevant data.

Regarding Quickbooks integration, you can connect your Quickbooks account to HubSpot and automatically create deals, contacts, and companies. You can also track revenue and expenses, and easily create invoices and estimates. This integration can also help you to automate your bookkeeping process.

I was curious if folks had thoughts on the best way to track ecommerce transactions in Hubspot.

What comes to mind is a workflow that automatically creates a closed/Won deal for every transaction. My hesitation is the potential number of deals that this could create.

What have you all done in this situation? Is there a better way to manage this data?

Additional info: at the moment we will be entering sales into Hubspot manually but we may try integrating Quickbooks to record sales. I could use addiitonal info on how the Quickbooks integration works. Maybe it does things like this manually?
