Bulk changing contact owner

We've had an employee leave so we want to transfer all his contacts to another member of staff and make another person secondary contact. Is there a way of doing that? It might be we can only change the primary contact which is still time-saving!

Hey @AONeill7

That's certainly possible with the bulk edit option in HubSpot.

You simply do the following::

Go to the contact view and filter contacts by the contact owner who has left
Then you select all those contacts, make sure to tick the "select all records" prompt in the blue bar.
Then click edit
Select the contact owner properties you want to change

That's it. All your records have been re-assigned.

is there a way to bulk change the contact owner based on the company owner? for example - i just took over as owner of a bunch of company records. i'd like to update myself as owner of all the associated contacts. how can i do that?
