How to prevent sales from skipping deal stages?

Do you know any solution to prevent sales from skipping stages? That is a big issue for us since, with this, they are also missing the required fields.

Hey @MSzymanska ,

This is a concern for many Businesses like yours.

But unfortunately this is currently not possible to mandate the deals to move through each and every deal stage.

For the time being you can keep adding the required fields from top to bottom while coming down the stages. This way you can make sure that all your properties are populating.

For example property A is made required on STAGE 1,then for STAGE 2 - A and B should be made required, then for STAGE 3 - A,B, and C should be made required....and so on!

I will request you to post in idea in the ideas section of the HubSpot community. Maybe it can be a feature in some time.

Thank you. I just did it, so we will see how that will work. This is still not going to solve all issues, but at least all required fields will be there
