Looking for help 🙂

All our Calendly meetings are logged twice because the events are in outlook too.

1 directly from Calendly

and

1 through sync with Outlook

How to avoid it?

Extra details and background:

I need the answers from the Calendly forms logged, so I would rather not turn the integration 100% off.

Not all meetings are created through Calendly, so I also need sync with Outlook.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

May I ask why you don't wish to see this type of activity logged twice in your CRM? If it's just because of inconvenience and it doesn't really affect your work, you could adjust the activity feed filter to make sure you're not seeing any updates from Calendly on the activity feed. The Calendly updates should be listed here:

If, however, meeting duplicates are affecting your work or reporting negatively, I can think of 2 possible solutions. They both involve removing the Calendly integration as a first step, and then

using an automation tool like Zapier to update contact properties when a contact interacts with Calendly,
or installing the HubSpot tracking code on the website where the form submission happens & allowing collection of non-HubSpot form data in HubSpot.

I haven't tested these two options because I don't have a Calendly account set up, that's why I want to tag a couple of subject matter experts to get their advice on this matter:

What @MiaSrebrnjak suggested makes a lot of sense - either leaving 2 activities or turning off displaying the Calendly one.

In addition to Zapier you may want to look at Outfunnel (I am part of the team) which also offers a Calendly-Hubspot integration - see here. Outfunnel could update properties in Hubspot based on data entered into Calendly without creating an activity (you can toggle Activity creation on and off). See below:
