Hi @VZIOM,

You can create contacts one by one, see here, but that's probably a little bit tedious and time-consuming?

Importing spreadsheets is the fastest way to get contacts into your CRM. On the Map columns in your file to contact properties screen, you don't have to map each column to a HubSpot contact property. The only mandatory one would be Email.

Anything else is optional and depends on how you'd like to use the CRM. If you want be able to call contacts quickly, you should map Phone number. If you want use First name and Last name for email personalization, you would have to import that as well. If you want to run sales campaigns by location, you would probably have to map Postal code as well.

Whatever information you import, allows you to use it later – for quick access, reference or segmentation. If you decide to not import a column, it will simply not be available for these purposes later.

You might find these two knowledge base articles helpful:

Set up your import files

HubSpot's default contact properties

Hope this helps!

This did not answer my question . See attach scree shot. The column on the right I have to go through each one and have no idea wht al lot of them mean.

Hi @VZIOM,

There isn't an easier way to this in HubSpot. For each column of your import file, you need to either

find an existing HubSpot default property (full list with definitions here) or

create a custom property if you can't find a suitable one (e.g. create a custom single-line text contact property for Yomi Name) or

decide not to import the column.

If you're unsure what to do with certain columns, feel free to post them here.

Best regards!
