Hi @DDias72,

This could be approached in an even simpler way:

Create a segment of contacts to be re-engaged

Start sending your re-engagement emails (I'd recommend doing so via workflow and setting a "Last re-engagement date" property while you're at it)

Create a filtered contact view of the contacts that have a value for "Last re-engagement date" AND "Last marketing email click date" / "Last marketing email open date" is known, and name this saved filtered view "Re-engaged contact pool"

Share the filtered view with sales

Theoretically, you could also use a workflow that sends notifications based on the criteria in step 3, but that could potentially result in a lot of notifications to the sales team, depending on how many contacts you're re-engaging.

Best regards

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for best practice advice on building a contact-based workflow that flags leads as “Priority to Contact” based on engagement with a re-engagement email campaign.

Use case:
We’re running re-engagement campaigns for cold leads across different regions. When a contact shows intent after receiving these emails, we want to automatically surface them to Sales so they don’t get lost among other leads, we would assign does leads as Priority to contact on our pipeline, which already exists.

What we want to achieve:

Monitor engagement with specific marketing emails (re-engagement emails only)

Automatically update the leads once they do the activies with us (Email click, Email Reply, CTA Click, etc) then we would rotate that lead back to the team and set the lead stage as Priority to Contact.

Optionally trigger internal notifications or sales tasks when a reply occurs

Questions for the community:

Any gotchas with using email open/click triggers in workflows?

Are there cleaner ways to ensure this only applies to specific re-engagement emails?

Any best approach to do the above via workflow?

Any guidance or examples would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
