Formatting Frustration in Sequences

Not sure if this is just a 'me' thing but any tips to improve workflow are appreciated.

Just started using Hubspot Sequences so still on a learning curve.

I tend to copy and paste chunks of text to personalise my sequence emails as I go through them.

Despite clearing the formatting each time I'm still getting a few lines that slip through the nest and look out of place.

Is there any approach to automatically clear firmatting before sending.

If the source text comes from day a Google doc I keep getting a different format to the 'neutral' on in Hubspot.

Trying to get the balance between working at pace and not appearing that it's a cut and paste job is a work in progress!

Hey @DBrazil I've heard of this happening a few times and it can be quite frustrating. The issue really comes down to html formatting rendering on the email when copied.

What I usually do is use a tool like this one to strip out any html, then ensure I only paste without formatting when pasting.

I wish there was an easier way!

Super helpful - got me thinking if there is a Chrome extension out there that can automate this with a right click to do this action for you... something to research when I have a moment.

I’m still running into issues. I tried pasting the content into a Notepad document to strip the HTML, and I also used the HTML **bleep** tool linked here, but neither has fully resolved the problem. It’s also frustrating that there isn’t an option to send a test email to myself, like we can with the marketing emails. Will this feature be added in the future?
