Email activity in HubSpot from emails sent via AmpleMarket

Hi everyone 🤝
I'm using AmpleMarket to send outbound emails, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to include those emails in HubSpot activity reports.

Is there a way to track or import these email activities so that they can be used in custom reports?

At the moment, I can see emails sent to my contacts in the Contacts object, but they are not tracked in activity reports (screenshot no. 1). HubSpot only shows emails sent directly from Gmail in my reports (screenshot no. 2).

Has anyone successfully integrated AmpleMarket with HubSpot reporting, and how did you approach it?

Hi @ASobusiak,

Based on the official Amplemarket HubSpot integration guide (https://learning.amplemarket.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052483331-Integrating-with-HubSpot)

Go to Amplemarket’s Account Settings → Integrations → Connect HubSpot and authenticate.
Configure the pull and push record settings to decide what syncs between the platforms.
Enable pushing of email and LinkedIn activities under the integration settings.

Important: This integration syncs sent and received emails but does not include email engagement activities like opens, clicks, or replies, the way HubSpot’s marketing or sales emails track them. Emails not logged as Sales Emails or Engagements won’t show in HubSpot’s standard activity-based reports.

If you want to track opens, clicks, replies, and other engagements in HubSpot reports, consider a custom integration approach:

Use Zapier, Make.com, or HubSpot’s Engagements API to push detailed email engagement data from Amplemarket into HubSpot as custom activities, tasks, or notes.
This approach lets you track sent dates, statuses, opens, replies, and even tag the activities as “Amplemarket Outreach.”

Thanks for the info! ❤️ Could you please explain in a bit more detail how I could set up this kind of integration using Zapier, Make.com, or the HubSpot Engagements API? I’d love to understand the steps involved in pushing Amplemarket engagement data into HubSpot as custom activities.
