Lead Reminders?

Hey all, I'm looking to send reminders to the sales team when they haven't followed up on a lead within 2 days.

I thought about using a workflow when the time spent in "New" is at least 2 days but I want business days which only seems available in sequences.

Should I be creating tasks on lead assignment?

What's the best way to go about this? Thanks in advance!

Hi Rob,

I was thinking, and it is an interesting use case. I recommend that you do this:

Trigger: When a lead is assigned or enters the “New” stage.
Workflow Action: Create a Task for the assigned rep with a due date 2 business days later:

This is the solution I've got.

Optional:

Create a lead property called "Due date"
Set an action in your workflow to copy the "due date" of the task associated to the "due date" of lead property
Add action "delay until a date property" and select "Due date" lead property
Add a branch to see if the previous task is done, if not, send an email to the lead owner

I created the task and assigned it to lead owner. If the associated lead progresses beyond "New" then I have a workflow to mark the task as completed.
