A client has a website that has a subscribe button with an input field for users to type their email in it. The website is not hosted on hubspot and the client requests that when he clicks on the button that the email using a workflow to be added to a list. How to do that ? Should I embed a cta in their website or what should i do ?

Is this a HubSpot CTA + form?

If not, I'd recommend setting it up using a HubSpot CTA and form.

Should that not be an option, you can push submissions from a third-party tool to HubSpot using the forms API: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/reference/api/marketing/forms/v2

hi @karstenkoehler no it is not a hubspot cta but yes, i can recommend changing it with a hubspot cta (what do you mean with form?) if i changed it with hubspot cta can you guide me with the workflow steps because when i tried a demo workflow using cta i couldn't found the option to specify a certain cta click in the workflow trigger

@HSalah could you confirm that you reviewed the CTA documentation I shared? It explains how you create a CTA that includes a form - the submission of which would trigger your workflow.
