External bulk lead/contact submission

We work with 3rd parties to help gather qualified leads to us. Currently they submit this via email + spreadsheet.

It would be super useful to simply send them a Hubspot form - or public version of the import functionality - so that they can submit multiple leads, which automatically create contact records.

Bonus: it would be even better if they could see which leads are duplicates (i.e. already in the CRM) so that we only pay on net-new, and there is total transparency.

Hi @PLow

Giving people access to import contacts is possible in HubSpot, but something I would use with caution.

You can also share a form with people via which they can add and create contacts repeatedly.

The important thing for this to work is the following setting:

This will create a new contact every time the form is submitted.

As Frank shared above, there is some functionality in HubSpot for this. But you do need to be careful, especially when working with third-party vendors or apps.

But I also wanted to share that Insycle can help with this. Full disclosure — I work for Insycle. But we sound like we might be just what you are looking for. Insycle connects to HubSpot CRM and gives you unparalleled control over your data quality.

For your specific use case —

Insycle would allow you to create a template in our Magical Import, ensuring that all future CSV imports follow a specific structure.
Have complete granular controls over permissions so that third-party vendors can only engage with your HubSpot CRM instance in your approved ways.
Set your own uniquely identifying fields so that you catch more potential duplicates as they are imported.
Setup bulk deduplication templates that run automatically to catch any remaining duplicates that are imported into your system, flexibly and in bulk.

Further, if you were to go the form-submission route, Insycle would still be immensely helpful for identifying and merging duplicates, and enforcing data quality standards and conventions in individual fields, so you don't have third-party vendors importing a bunch of low quality data.
