Is it impossible to view custom object card in the right sidebar of another object when there is no association

If there is no association, how would the system 'know' which custom object record to show?

i mean for example a contact record would have the Deal card with zero assocation records value because there is no assocaition between the 2 objects (but it still appears in the right side bar) is it possible with the custom object card to appear on the right side bar with zero records. Do you mean that any deal without associations would show up on any contact? Wouldn't that mean that all record "orphans" would show up on all contact records?

This can be custom coded probably, yes. It does not exist out of the box. I'm fairly certain however that this backfires and is potentially not exactly what the client wants, it's only what they think they want?

i meant that deals card without association would show up on (contacts,companies,tickets) right side bar but with no records just the deals card (Deals (0)) i want the custom object card as well to appear on the right bar even if there isn't any record because no association

@HSalah that's default behavior of cards – they do not disappear when they're not associated records. They remain behaving exactly like you said.

yes but the custom object card does not behave like i said it does not appear without association with other objects. Is it possible to behave like them (just appear in the right sidebar with zero records although i have not done any associations) or it's a must for custom objects to make an association inorder to make it's cards appear ?

Hi @HSalah

No, for the moment its not possible to make a card appear or disappear depending on the associations.

The card 'd appear 100% of the time with or without info in it.

This 'd be a great idea for the near future.
