Thanks for clarifying @CWit so it's not your company's hierarchy but rather your customers. So what's the ultimate end goal with this:

Do you just need to see the relationship somewhere?

Do you use it to run reports?

Without any further context it sounds to me that the HQ -> Market Locations, would be the traditional parent -> child relationship. The teams exist in parallel to the HQ -> Market Locations or is there an overlap, e.g.:

1 HQ -> 1 German Market Location -> Team A / Team B

1 HQ -> 1 French Market Location -> Team A

1 HQ -> 1 Spanish Market Location -> Team C, Team D

Hello,

We have a complicated company hierarchy within our organization that the parent and child relationship does not seem to support. We are not a traditional B2B sales org.

We have one Parent Company and that parent company is broken up into different markets locations as separate companies and then that same parent company can be broken apart into different team affiliations as separate companies.

For this example Assume there is 1 parent company, 16 distinct market locations, and 18 distinct team types.

What is the best way to structure this in HubSpot? Custom Objects? Association Lables? We were just using two different Affiliations custom fields on the company for both market and team but that is getting complicated and messy.

Hi @CWit

This might sound like a silly question, but why are you trying to put your organisation's hierarchy/structure into the Hubspot CRM? Or am I misunderstanding what the actual problem is?

Hi Frank,

It is not our company organization - it is how we organize the companies and teams we partner with.
