It seems Content Hub Pro is priced at $500 per month, which is beyond my budget. On top of that, I'm feeling overwhelmed by the various "hubs" I might need to use to get everything up and running. It's a lot to process, and I'm starting to consider exploring other products as a result.

The community support has been fantastic, and I truly appreciate it. However, I still feel a bit lost. I even reached out to customer support, but the communication was challenging, leaving me more confused than before.

Would like to see if there is a workaround, built in solution to have my clients log into their portal and have a section for them to keep a journal that I can also see.

Or if there is a 3rd party app I can use and get the data from.

It would be awesome if I could use software that would allow people to create a food journal type spot in their portal, this would allow them to log in and inoput their food intake daily.

I was thinking basic would be a integrated Form they could fill out, wanted to see if there is anything that would fit this use case more succinctly.

Thank you for the support!

Hi! @CtWhalen There are definitely likely some custom solutions that could incorporate this functionality

However I think there are some steps you can take to address this

Built-in Solutions and Workarounds
HubSpot Forms and Custom Properties:

Forms: You can create a form that users can fill out daily. Each submission can be linked to their contact record.
Custom Properties: Create custom properties in contact records to store journal entries. This approach would be limited to a fixed number of entries unless you continuously update the properties or export old entries.
HubSpot Knowledge Base:

Use the Knowledge Base to create articles where users can log their entries. Each user can have a dedicated article, and permissions can be managed to ensure only they and your team can view/edit it.

Third-Party Apps and Integrations
Google Sheets Integration:

Use Google Sheets to create a shared journal. Each user can have their sheet linked to their HubSpot contact record. Integration tools like Zapier can automate data syncing between Google Sheets and HubSpot.
Typeform or SurveyMonkey:

Use these tools to create dynamic and interactive forms that users can fill out daily. These tools can integrate with HubSpot to store responses in contact records or custom objects.
AirTable:

AirTable can be used as a collaborative journal. It offers robust API and integration capabilities with HubSpot. Each user can have a dedicated table to log their entries, which can be viewed and managed through AirTable’s interface and synced with HubSpot.
Notion:

Notion can serve as a versatile platform for creating journals. Users can have shared pages or databases for their journal entries. Integrations via tools like Zapier can connect Notion entries to HubSpot records.

Creating a Food Journal in HubSpot
For a food journal specifically:

Integrated Form Solution:

Create a detailed form in HubSpot where users can log their daily food intake. Each submission can be tagged with the date and stored in their contact record.
Use HubSpot CMS:

Create a custom section in the HubSpot CMS where users can log in and update their journal entries. This would involve custom development but can provide a seamless experience.
Mobile App Integration:

Use a mobile app designed for food journaling (e.g., MyFitnessPal) and integrate it with HubSpot using API or Zapier. This allows users to log their food intake on the go and sync data back to HubSpot.

Hey @CtWhalen

you can have this setup in HubSpot

with Content Hub Pro and membership pages

this will allow contact to log into password protected pages

those pages can have all the information you want: a form, a blog, videos, etc.

If you ever consider it and need help, let me know.
