Hi @keshukeshvala

You are right, HubSpot does not work with tags but that is something you can easily do with custom properties.

In it's simplest form you could have a single check box called "Needs Review", if set to "Yes" you can then create lists or views to just show these contacts, or use it to trigger a workflow. Once updated, the property should be cleared.

A more complex setup would be a custom property for each information you check/update, e.g. email needs updating, phone number needs updating, etc. The process for managing these would be the same.

Hope that helps.

Hi, we are new to Sales hub and wanted to know best practice for following:

1. We have a data research tool and team both who update Bounced email or wrong phone numbers.

Example of what we are doing currently:

1. Sales person found email is wrong so they are marking that record as wrong contact information - TAG in our old CRM.

2. Then either our Enrichment tools we use update records periodically or our data research team update those wrong details and mark TAG contact updated. (Wuth enrichment tools we had setup workflow which was updating tag)

3. I am looking for best practices in hubspot how can we manage this case?

Shall we create custom property, or enroll such records in one static list or what else? I feel tags are not default part of hubspto.

Purpose is when sales team seperate those records we should be easily able to find them using filter and when all those are updated sales team should be able to find that those are updated.

Hi @keshukeshvala. I agree with @franksteiner79 on this for the custom property - they act much like tags in other systems, but with more functionality.

I'd also consider, as another option, making a basic static list that allows manual addition, and train the team to add contacts to this list. It may help to visualize the bad information contacts, and they could work through that list a contact at a time.

Either solution would work for your situation well.
