Please Help - stages and workflow triggers

I want to set stages for reachout to contacts - the first three are:

1. No Pending Deal

2. Initial Outreach Approved

3. Initial Outreach Sent

4. Response Recieved

5-10 [there are others]

1-2 is manual. 2-3 is automated and is working per below:

But 2-3 is not because I keyed it on a different input so that i could set reenrollment trigger appropriately

The problem is that this "recent sales email replied date" is known if we have any prior communication.

Any thoughts? Thanks so much.

@MConnelly3 I would suggest what you did too. Keep in mind that this relies on your "Expert stage date" is static and won't be changed. If it can change, you can create a mirror property that logs the "expert stage date" once its reached via a workflow, then you can use it in you filter too.

after this stage "response received" - the rest are all set manually - and never goes back to "response recieved" - think that would be OK then? Thanks so much

What you could also do to be safer and for the sake of explainability of the workflow, not using "after expert stage" but using "after became initial outreach send date" for example.
In both cases, I would test the workflow with several contacts to see if it works as you planned.
