&lt;P&gt;If you have an Enterprise subscription and access to custom objects, then indeed you should create a custom object for this. There is no property type that would give you a timeline like this. The property history cannot be accessed in reports and an approach using multiple properties doesn't scale well.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;With a custom object, each planting would have it's own record, with a planting date and details.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Tracking yearly changing properties</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Asked a similiar question for a use case and was suggested custom objects. For that case a custom object worked really well. Gut says its the only way for this example as well but figured id put it out to the community.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have a contact record that purchases some garden seed from us every year, what they plant every year changes. We want to historically track in a property these details (not all sales flow through hubspot yet)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So 2 properties would be:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Year:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Planted:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;History would love to see:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2025&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Planted: Peas and corn&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2024&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Planted: Beans and Onions&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ECT.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
