I haven't seen the ability to create logic for these cards, but it would be useful for your use case.

Hi,

I work in a SaaS company. It`s a monthly service and they can cancel at anytime.

Currently we have a deal created for when they buy it. We track monthly and set up fee. If they decide to cancel we create a deal in a different pipeline attached to that customer and we keep track on that.

We don`t have a process for Upgrade/Downgrade. We just go to our system and change payment, update products but it`s hard to quantify how many we have.

I wanted to see you guys opinion on how to handle this. I saw some people saying they create a new deal anytime that happen, but don`t that will cause a bunch of deals associated to the same contact?

How do you track your amount or revenue on that as well? I want to brainstorm and see what does everything think about it.

I would really appreciate ideas.

Hi @tiago_bezerra ,

I tend to agree with having it be a new deal, but what I would do (If you have Professional or Enterprise level) is create association labels for the deals and associate the deals together and label with the appropriate label, Upgrade or Downgrade.

When it comes to payments, I would just adjust it to fit the new price.

That is a great idea, I didn`t think about using the labels. We do have enterprise level licenses. So in this case it would be create a association between deal to deal and not deal to contact?

I remember seeing HS having a functionallity that you can use the recurring revenue based on a property for upgrade/downgrade but it was a long time ago and I don`t know how it works.

If we associate deal and contact, do you know if we can filter the deal cards to avoid showing upgrades/downgrade or just show the most recent one? I`m trying to avoid having a bunch of deals showing up associated to a contact.
