Properties in deal stages

Hi,

I have a question and I hope someone has a solution.

We sell different services, but all the deals are in one pipeline.

But for the different services we need different properties filled.

We want to use the properties that appear when you move to the next deal stage, but is it possible to select different properties when you've stated in one of the properties that it is that service and when it is another service that you get different properties to fill?

Or is the only solution to create a different pipeline? Or to make the properties not required?

I hope the question is clear and someone can help me with this problem.

Hi @KRoos,

With dependent properties you can get more granular: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/set-up-conditional-logic-for-enumeration-properties

However, depending on your requires logic, this might require assisting properties and assisting workflows.

The easiest solution would be indeed separate pipelines, if you can afford to 'migration' and changes required in reporting.

I would go with separate pipelines as otherwise it might be very complex.

Have you considered using the new card features in record customization?

You can display the card based on conditional properties. (see attached)

At the moment it's only one property, but you could either trigger it on a deal tag (and set the deal tag to be service x and deal stage y) or you can create a custom property specfically for the card to show. You could use automation to set that custom property based on service and deal stage.

Something else to note, these conditional cards can only live in the left hand sidebar.

I've looked into it and I don't have the right to apply conditional logic, but a colleague does and he states it's a good option, so thanks!
