Multiple Lead Paths?

I'm looking for guidance as I'm relatively new to Hubspot CRM. We have two kinds of Leads:

One generates revenue when they proceed through our "Sales" process
The other adds to out free platform but do not generate revenue

I want to implement separate "Prospecting" workflows for each kind of Lead and am trying to work out if Lead Pipeline is a viable option to separate the two Lead Paths. Has anyone used multiple Lead Pipelines, or come up with a way of managing Leads for different paths?

Hey @Shaun-IGS

It’s a great idea you can set multiple pipelines to manage leads effectively

You can name your new pipeline accordingly example - “revenue-generating pipeline”, “free pipeline”

To setup pipelines

Once done, you can assign leads to the appropriate pipeline based on their type.

You can do this manually by selecting the pipeline when creating or editing a lead,

or you can automate it using workflows or lead routing rules.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion @Jigar_Thakker . Is there a way to create multiple Lead Pipelines, rather than multiple Deal Pipelines? I'm looking at the Beta Prospecting>Leads tab and I can see a column titled Lead Pipeline but cannot see where I can create/manage multiple Lead Pipelines.

Currently, you can only create multiple Pipeline for deals only the leads pipeline you can see in the prospecting tab is the pipeline created for deals to manage your leads you can use the lead status property or create new properties to manage the leads that fit your business needs.

Thanks for your help @Jigar_Thakker . I guess I'll create a custom property and manage the two Lead paths via the Contacts page, as the Leads tool looks too limited for what I want at the moment.

Upvoting on this! I thought we could now assign a lead to a lead pipeline that is not just recreating another deals pipeline. HubSpot please comment on this!

HubSpot issued a Product Update on Sept-9, 2024 allowing the creation of additional "Lead" pipelines which is a great news. GREAT ENHANCEMENT !!

How can I configure business rules that will determine in which LEAD pipeline I want my new LEAD record to be created in when a CONTACT record reaches MQL Lifecycle stage? The problem is they all get created in the default "Sales pipeline" lead pipeline and they can't be moved to different LEAD piepeline once created.

Please advise...

Just to be sure... You say that you can only create multiple pipelines on "DEALS" but since September 9th, HS deployed this enhancement (Beta) allowing us to create multiple "LEADS" pipelines... Also, you refer to the "Prospecting Workspace" inyour post but this has also been replaced (Beta) by the "Sales Workspace".
