Is that correct?

Additionally, I've seen some other references to this specific error, and notes of needing to disable all browser extensions, as well. Can you please try this and confirm whether or not it assists with the process?

Shane, Senior Community Moderator

Hi Shane, thank you for getting back to me on this.

Yes, I’m referring to changing the email address associated with my HubSpot user. I appreciate you confirming that piece. I’ve tried making the update using the standard web version of Chrome and Microsoft Edge, as well as incognito mode in both browsers. I also attempted it through the mobile versions of Chrome and Safari. Unfortunately, I’ve had no success with any of those options.

Thank you!

Hi Shane, I can also confirm that I did disable all extensions in Chrome and attempted the validation and it still showed "expired" immediately. Thank you again!

We are having the same issue. The Hubspot email I use to log in with, I am trying to change it. It sends an email to the new email to confirm, shows pending confirmation. Instantly i go to the new email and go to "Confirm your email address" and it goes to a hubspot page that says "Your authentication has expired. Please log in again to continue". I am using two laptops for this also, not the same, so no cookie issue. Still tried clearing cache/cookies anyways. No dice.

Hi @chris-tst777,

It sounds like you and the thread's OP are running into similar behavior with the confirmation link expiring, even across different browsers and devices.

Since the standard troubleshooting steps (incognito, clearing cache, disabling extensions, different browsers/devices) have already been tried without success, this may be worth raising directly with HubSpot Support so they can look into what's happening on the backend.

If either of you are using SSO or SCIM provisioning on your account, that could also be a factor, this could worth double-checking with your admin. However, in the meantime, I believe your best resource here will be reaching out to Support directly by following these steps here:

Get help with HubSpot

I hope this helps point you in the right direction!
