Simultaneous active user limit?

My company is scoping an account expansion and I was asked if a single account could host 1,000 simultaneous users working during peak times. We're currently running on a small scale and haven't come across issues thus far.

I don't see a clear answer anywhere online that discusses an active user limit or lag/issues when more than 'X' users are logged in. Does anyone know or have experience with this?

There is a technical limit of 2,500 users per account, see here: https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog

While I haven't administrated a HubSpot portal yet that has hit that ceiling, I haven't experienced any issues or lag in portals with more than 1,000 users.

In large portals, you'll typically notice a little bit of delay in workflow and list processing, but that is due to the number of records and assets, not the users. We're talking about 1-2 minutes more in processing of automation enrollment, for example, in large portals.

Hi @karstenkoehler!, thanks for responding! I've read about the user limit and have interpreted that cap as being users permitted per account. Does that number also reflect simultaneous useage? Meaning 1000 employees be actively logged in and working (on emails, workflows, outreach) at the same time without delays or technical complications?

@K-Johnson I haven't experienced any slow-down when hundreds of users used the portal simultaneously so I wouldn't expect it to happen when the 1,000 user mark is hit. Hope this helps!
