I am trying to build out a formula property that will calculate the time it takes from getting assigned a lead to sales outreach.

I've run into two issues here:
1. the activities object consideres notes and tasks an activity and we do not consider that sales outreach/ we use notes and tasks to assign out leads, making this date property useless here.

2. the formula we can create will not take into consideration timezones (aka which rep is working during what hrs) and also working days.

Anyone figured a way around either of these issues?

We attempted a separate date property that is updated anytime true sales activities are recorded on a record, but we find that it's not always accurate.

I found this blog that might be of interest to you for this topic: Measure Speed to Lead in HubSpot.

Hi @CWat44,

Rather than using Last Activity Date, I'd recommend setting up a workflow that runs off of Last Contacted, which doesn't take notes or tasks.

Or, using a Contact List as the enrollment trigger, and having the list populated with only active outreach activity types.

The workflow should not have re-enrollment. 🙂

Not too sure about the timezone issue though I'm afraid.

Hi there! Unsure if you're still looking for this but we just posted a blog for a workaround that we use with some of our clients (below).

There's a few steps, and you need Zapier or something similar (as the calculation on response time, and the categorisation of business vs non-business hours are calculted in Google Sheets)—let me know if you have any questions!

How to make an accurate 'speed to lead' report in Hubspot: https://www.withscale.io/post/how-to-make-an-accurate-speed-to-lead-report-in-hubspot
