How can I export activities and tasks in HubSpot to a CSV file?

I already know how to export company and contact information, but how can I export activities and tasks separately?

Hi all!

I am very new to Hubspot. However, I want to export all activities on the contacts or companies in Hubspot. I also would like to export the task as well on these items. Putting them all into a CSV

How do I navigate to export these items? I know how to export the companies and contacts into a CSV, but how do I pull the activities and tasks separately?

Hi @MBradshaw5,

It's currently not possible to export contact engagements (notes, tasks, emails, meetings, calls), at least not out-of-the-box. There are workarounds using third-party integrations. I haven't tested this myself but other users have mentioned import2 data migration and Ultimate Data Export.

Another alternative would be custom solutions based on the HubSpot Engagements API.

Lastly, if you have a Professional subscription, you could create a custom activity report and export the report data. Let me know if you need further guidance with this part.

There is also a thread on this topic in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community "Import / export activities (engagements)". I'd recommend upvoting this thread and leaving a comment with your use case.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for but if you go to:

- "Reporting"
- "Reports"
- "Create Report" (Top Right)
- Single-Object Report
- Select "Engagements" for Data Source
- Add all of the relevant properties (I add them all to make sure I'm not missing anything)
- "Next"
- "Save Report"
- "Export"

I bet you will get what you are looking for.

Hi,

You can use Skyvia (https://skyvia.com/data-integration/hubspot-csv-file-import-and-export) to export them as CSV by configuring custom logic for data extraction. This allows you to pull tasks and activities alongside contacts and companies in a structured format.

I am glad to share that if you want to export contact activities, such as notes or emails, you can export contact data on individual records.

Also, you can:

- export certain activity reports or
- use the engagements API

And here is how to export tasks.
