Feeding Hubspot Product Updates to Slack channel?

Hi all!

I am thinking of ways to keep the wider org up to date on all the Hubspot product updates, and one thought is to feed the content of the Product Update page to a Slack channel.

Has anyone tried this (or similar) before, and if so, how did you do it?

I understand that you have a HubSpot page (I couldn't access the link you shared) and you'd like to receive notifications on Slack when an update is posted on the page, is that right?
Would this be a kind of RSS feed?

I'd like to share the Slack integration that might be of interest.

I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation @johnelmer, @Bryantworks and @DanMYD do you have any suggestions to help @PSterkenburg, please?

The link is indeed not clickable, as I changed our Portal ID to something random 🙂

It's the general Hubspot Product Updates page I am referring to (see screenshot), and I would like to share the updates that are coming from there.

The Hubspot - Slack integration seems to only work off of Companies/Contacts/Deals/etc, so I doubt it can be used, and we are likely looking at a custom solution (page to RSS to Slack?).

So, it's a long shot, but who knows, maybe somebody thought of it already! 🙂

It looks like native integration cannot help here. I would build a manual library/database of only relevant updates in Airtable or clickup and then integrate with Slack, you can have fields like:

Name
Description
Hub: Sales/marketing/Service/Ops
Object: Contact/Company/Deal/Ticket
Use-case for {your company name}
Implemented?
Adopted?

there can be plenty of more robust way to do this but i would start simple.

Nice, I like that idea! I could likely even use Asana or a Google Sheet to read from, when funnelling to Slack. I will poke around a bit 🙂
