How to design a custom quote template using the designer in HubSpot?

Hello Hubspot,

Thank you for providing a great CRM-system for the world. Everything is truly great about HubSpot - apart from one thing. How do I make a custom quote template? (And no, I'm not talking about the horribly simplistic Quote Customizer).

I've been googling and checking the community to no avail. All I want to achieve is to create my own custom quote Template using the Designer, which I can then use when I go to Sales > Quotes.

I've made a couple of test designs but I don't know how to select them as templates in the Quote screen. They don't show up.

Is there a guide I could follow?

Why is this so unnecessarily complicated compared to everything else?

Thank you for reaching out to us!

We always try to make the tools as user friendly as possible but, I can completely understand that sometimes it is not as direct as accessible as it should be.

If you’re using HubSpot's free or Sales Hub Starter tools, you can edit the domain, locale, language, and theme settings of the standard (legacy) customized quote templates. As of now if you require more customization, users in a Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise or CMS Hub Starter, Professional or Enterprise account can use the design manager to create templates from scratch or make edits to the coded template. It is recommended to work with a designer on your team or someone who is proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to make edits. For additional resources, refer to the HubSpot's developer documentation on CMS quotes themes.

If you do have access to custom quotes you would be able to follow the steps below to locate them:

In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the main navigation bar.
In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Objects > Quotes.
Click the Customized quote templates tab.
To edit, clone, or delete the customized quote template, hover over the template and click the Actions dropdown menu, then select Edit, Clone, or Delete.

To create a quote using a template, hover over the template and click Use template.
To hide a template, in the Standard quote templates section, hover over the standard templates and click Hide in quotes. When a user creates a quote, only the customized quotes and unhidden standard quote templates will appear.
