(How) can I send HubSpot form/ticket submission data to an email address?

Hi All,

I've got a Google Workspace email address, let's call it support@mydomain.com, and I've connected this as an Inbox channel to our Hubspot account.

I've created a Hubspot "Contact Us" form.

Is it possible to have submissions via this form just go straight to the support@mydomain.com inbox?

It might even suit us better at this time for the submissions to NOT come into Hubspot at all, i.e. for them just to go to that inbox. (Perhaps I'd have to REMOVE support@mycompany.com as an Inbox channel to be able to do this?).

So I guess what I'm really asking is: is it possible to send HubSpot form submission data directly to ANY email address of my choosing?

Hi @RGerring,

For the standard form submission notifications, you can only select HubSpot users as a recipient. The obvious workaround here is to create a HubSpot user with the email address you're trying to send these submissions to. You can then select his email address in the Options tab of the forms editor.

If this email address is already connected as a conversations inbox, I'd recommend to disconnect it. Form submission notifications are sent from a noreply@hubspot.com address. (Emails from this address always land in the spam folder of a conversations inbox. This is expected behavior and cannot be changed.)

(In HubSpot workflows, you can created automated emails and custom form submissions notifications which can be sent to any email address, without the workaround above of creating a fake user. This requires a Marketing Hub Professional subscription. Let me know if you have any questions about this.)
