EMail App with OWA

I have just signed up for Hubspot via the free trail - I am looking to buy if the service works for me.

I thought Hubspot would allow me to manage one-on-one emails;

Send emails from Outlook Web App and have them logge din HubSpot austomatically
Receive emails to Outlook Web App and have them logge din HubSpot austomatically
Receive reply emails to Outlook Web App and have them logge din HubSpot austomatically
Notifiy me when emails are opened

I just cannot gety this to work considtently when sending emails from OWA or from HubSpot itself.

Any advice?

Thanks for sharing this — email logging and tracking is often one of the first things people want working smoothly, so I get why this feels frustrating during a trial.

I’d like to bring a few Community members into the conversation who are very familiar with Outlook Web App integrations and HubSpot email tracking.
@seosiri @RubenBurdin @suprdense — hope you’re all having a great week! Have you seen common reasons why one-to-one emails from OWA don’t log or track consistently (send, receive, replies, opens)? Any setup steps or trial-account limitations worth double-checking?

Appreciate any guidance you can share here.

Consider following:

Connect your Outlook inbox
HubSpot → Settings → Email → Connect inbox (Office 365).
Install the HubSpot Sales add-in for Outlook (OWA)
This is mandatory. The browser alone is not enough.
Before sending any email in Outlook
- Open the HubSpot add-in
- Turn Log ON (to save emails in HubSpot)
- Turn Track ON (for open notifications)
Send emails in HTML mode
Open tracking won’t work in plain text.
For guaranteed logging (fallback)
Use HubSpot’s BCC logging address in every important email. Visit: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/connected-email/track-and-log-emails-with-the-hubspot-sales-office-365-add-in
