HubSpot to Teamwork Integration

When a deal is closed in HubSpot, we want to create a project in Teamwork. I'm able to do this via the workflow functionality but I also want the ability to map some HubSpot properties to the task and template fields in Teamwork.com. Is this possible without using a third-party app?

You’re on the right path with HubSpot workflows.

The native Teamwork integration supports basic triggers, like creating a project when a deal moves to Closed Won, but it doesn’t currently allow direct field mapping between HubSpot properties and Teamwork tassk or template fields.

HubSpot’s workflow actions can only send over standard fields exposed by the connected app, and Teamwork’s API doesn’t extend this mapping through the native connector. (https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/create-workflows )

If you want custom field mapping, say, pushing deal values, close dates, or custom dropdowns into Teamwork tasks, you’d need either a middleware layer using HubSpot’s “Send data to an external API” action or a lightweight third-party bridge that supports full property mapping

That’s how you’d send JSON payloads with any property you want into Teamwork’s API endpoints while keeping everything automated.
