HubSpot Analytics Reporting Issues: Delayed or Inconsistent Dashboard Data?

Hey everyone

I’ve been working with HubSpot analytics and dashboards recently, and I’ve noticed something a bit confusing in my reporting setup.

Some of my reports are showing data correctly, but others seem to be either delayed or not updating consistently, even after refreshing the dashboard. I’m mainly tracking activity-based metrics like contacts, traffic sources, and custom event reports.

I’ve already double-checked filters, date ranges, and report configuration, but the issue still appears randomly across different dashboards.

So I wanted to ask the community:

Has anyone experienced delays or inconsistencies in HubSpot analytics or dashboard reporting before?

Is this usually related to report settings, data processing delays, or something deeper in the tracking/attribution system?

Also, is there any best practice you follow to make sure dashboard data stays accurate and up to date?

HubSpot reports and dashboards are not updating in real-time, you can see the frequency of HubSpot analytics updates here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/how-often-do-analytics-in-hubspot-update

The following metrics update every 40 minutes:

Dashboard data that relies on analytics (page views, sessions, form views, form submissions, etc.)

Landing pages, website pages, and blog data

Calls-to-action views, clicks, and submissions

Form views and submission analytics

Sources report sessions, contacts, and customers

Event completions

Prospects data

Email statistics (sent, delivered, opened, clicked, etc.)

The following metrics are updated within five minutes of an interaction:

Social media clicks and interactions

In addition, reports built with the custom report builder are automatically refreshed with available data every two hours. However, you can manually refresh a report or a dashboard once every 15 minutes to retrieve new data.
