Discrepancy between Hubspot and Google Analytics Paid Search

We saw an alarming decline in sessions last week on Hubspot's reporting. When we look at Google Analytics it doesn't show the same decline. When we isolated paid search it's not following the same trend line. Attached blue line is an overlay of what GA is showing and pink is Hubspot. What could be happening? We did recently turn on the scorebased bot detection beta could that be causing any of this?

Hey @MNold21! It's not uncommon for Google Analytics and HubSpot data to not match exactly. @Syeda_Fatima has a good contextual explanation of this in the thread Difference in numbers in Hubspot sessions and Google Analytics users.

That said, I want to invite some subject matter experts to see if they have any suggestions.

Thanks! It’s just so frustrating to see a huge drop and not understand why and if it’s truly a problem.

Are you using a GDPR opt in functionality? If so, what are you using? Sometimes based on how a user accepts cookies will depend on what analytics you see. I would also look for bot traffic in GA to see if Hubspot excluded it or if it didn't opt in or blocked hubspot cookies.
