Use internal values instead of labels to create reports

I am creating some reports and I would like to use the internal value of a variable instead of its labels for the report. How do i achieve this?

Hi @RKrishnan7,

Unfortunately, there isn't a specific setting for this, as far as I know. There aren't any options for report labels.

+1 for @karstenkoehler's answer here, @RKrishnan7. I'm curious as to why you'd prefer the internal value (a code) versus the label (a friendlier label).

For a variable defined in my deals, the label is quite long while the internal values are numbers that can be plotted on a graph.

I have the same problem here.

I have a property (let's call it Property A) with:

A label that is long and explanatory for the users
A internal value that is the "key" we internally use to interpret our data

I found a workaourd that is not ideal but that allows me to have clean and readable reports.

I built a workflow that copies the value of Property A to a new property that is called Property B.

Property B has both label and internal value that are the same as the internal value of Property A.

Then I use Property B in the reports.

It's stupid but it works.
