Organic Lead attributed to Direct Traffic

I see a lot of DIRECT TRAFFIC sources and none attributed to ORGANIC. I submitted a couple test forms:

1. Googled, clicked on our AD and submitted the form

2. Googled, clicked on the ORGANIC listing and submitted the form

in Hubspot, the 1st lead showed up as PAID SEARCH, whereas the 2nd one showed up as DIRECT TRAFFIC

Is this something to do with Cookie Consent? we use Complianz plugin in our WordPress website for Cookie Consent.

Any help would be appreciated!!

UPDATE:

Now I see the real issue. Here are the scenarios:

1. I google click on my website (this page has no form in it), then I click on the DEMO button and land on the demo page with a form. I submit this form and my lead is captured as DIRECT TRAFFIC

2. I Google and this time I click on the DEMO page in Google search, submit the form, now my lead is captured as ORGANIC SEARCH

Is the attribution or cookies dropping while a user navigate in the website?

If I am not wrong the issue you are facing is that the organic leads are also marked as direct traffic in the CRM?

That is what this article explains there are a few reasons why the organic leads are also counted as direct traffic: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/why-do-i-have-more-direct-traffic-than-expected kindly go through this article and identify whether any of these conditions are creating the lead source as direct traffic
