The Hotjar + HubSpot integration helps you to personalize interactions with prospects and customers, so you can be better prepared for calls, provide tailored support, and trigger marketing and sales automations. Here’s how it works:

Watch session recordings in your HubSpot contact timeline: See what people engaged with or where they got stuck, so you can be better prepared for calls and queries.
See survey responses in your HubSpot contact timeline: Hear what customers had to say about their experience to pre-empt pain points and tailor conversations.
Use Hotjar session properties to target campaigns in HubSpot: Trigger workflows using HubSpot and Hotjar properties (like ‘referrer URLs’ and ‘duration on site’) to personalize marketing campaigns.
Give your sales team extra insights:Build automations to notify your sales team when a recording is available for a highly-engaged prospect. Alert reps when prospects are showing signs of frustration, so they can follow-up at the right time and with better context on their experience.

@emmalross Hi there! One of my clients has the HotJar integration installed. I see how you can trigger workflows based on various HotJar data, but I would love a way to be able to access that information in Contact properties. I tried to "copy value" to a property, but the fields that HotJar provides are not technically properties so that step isn't working. Am I missing something? (The "HotJar Survey Names" property is a custom one I made, hoping to populate it.)

Yes, absolutely. In this particular case, I would like to have "Poll name," "Poll URL" and "Occurred" date recorded as contact properties on the contact, or appended if they cannot be their own properties. While I can use those data to trigger a workflow, they are not accessible to "Copy" to a property field. See screenshot.

Another useful item would be to record the Landing page URL of a session recording. Even more ideally, we would love if the utm parameters of the URL would populate in HubSpot's "utm_campaign" and "utm_medium" fields, although I recognize this detail may only be possible if there are hidden form field on the page. Screenshot of example contact below.

@RBCook Following up. Is your team looking into adding these features? I'd like to move forward with my client's HotJar data in any way I can now, and knowing a timeline if one exists would be useful.

The integration is great, but it will be beneficial to get access to and use the Hotjar properties in any way in the automation.
