Zoom events integration

Hello,

I've added the Zoom events for Hubspot app to both my Hubspot account & Zoom events. The idea is to automatically register guests to the Zoom events when they fill in the Hubspot form.

I've completed the workflow using the app, but it is coming back with an error message: 'Registration failed because of an error in the connected app'.

I've triple checked everything on the How To guide, created several different workflows /forms / events to test with, tried different network connections, made sure the fields required to register on Zoom match those the Hubspot workflow pulls, but I still can't get them to sync.

Looking for any advice on how to troubleshoot this - there's very little info about the app online.

Hi @RTookey,

I've seen this error with the Zoom integration before but typically it resolved over time (minutes). I usually solve for this with a sequence of if/then branches in a workflow, checking whether the "Add to Zoom webinar" action was successful and repeating it if it wasn't.

For how long has this been occurring? Just to be sure we're talking about the same thing, could you share a screenshot of the error message from the workflow actions log?

Hi Karsten,

Just to flag, this is the Zoom Events integration, which is separate from the normal Zoom one.

It's been going on for a few weeks now - I've never managed to get the integration to work in that time.

Happy to try if/when branch, but from the event log, it's showing that it is automatically retrying anyway (it normally times out after a few days of trying). Here's the error message:

Yes, I got that part, otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned workflows 😉

When you hover over the workflow log entries and display the error details (the right sidebar should pop open with a status code), what does it say? Sometimes these errors are also Zoom license related.

It's saying Status code: 503.

Hi @RTookey,

I'd flag this with Zoom support. "Service unavailable" sounds like it's a Zoom issue, not a HubSpot or integration issue.
