CTA Pop-up button not working

Hi!

I've been trying to add a CTA on our website. The purpose of this is for the users to subscribe to our newsletter. So it's a pop-up. It's being shown in the right way but when you try to click the CTA button "Ma abonez" (which means subscribe) it's not working.

Any idea why? How can I troubleshoot this?

Worth mentioning that:

- the CTA has an integration with gravity forms so the user is completing the form from gravity

- the pop-up is shown only to unknown users

I would recommend connecting with HubSpot Technical Support, as Support is included in your subscription and they will be able to provide real-time assistance for this matter, including hopping on a screenshare if necessary to see a specific example of this CTA.

Hi @IArtean I'd be confident this is due to a styling issue or Javascript conflict on your page. I'm not sure the HubSpot pop-ups have a gravity forms integration right now, is this a custom pop-up?

If you'd like to send on a page with this on it I'd be happy to take a look!

Thanks, Tom, for helping me on this. You are right, it's not integrated, I got confused. I am using a form that was previously made in Gravity forms and then was connected to HS. But inside the pop-up you were right that there is a Hubspot form 🙂

Can you access this page: https://www.brunomag.ro/contact/ then scroll a bit? The pop-up should appear.

I am adding 2 attachments with the errors that I am getting when trying to subscribe.

Hey @IArtean thanks for sending that on!

When I try to submit I see an error:

"formSubmissionValidationType: "INVALID_LEGAL_CONSENT_OPTIONS"

So some of the GDPR options aren't correct for some reason. It seems like the GDPR opt-in you have setup is causing an issue. If you remove the GDPR opt-in, publish, then add back in and publish again does it solve the issue?

If not, are you using any custom HTML in your portal GDPR options? It's hard to tell without seeing your setup, but it means the GDPR/Consent to process options have gotten into some weird state where it's not communicating correctly with the HS system.

Indeed, the problem is the GDPR option. Thanksss!

I've removed it and then tried a test and it worked. The GDPR is mandatory so I have to add it somehow. Now I need to see what's not working.. Maybe the settings for GDPR are not correct and then when it's added the subscription brakes.

@TomM2 Hoping you can help with a similar issue! On this page, the 2 toolkit buttons and 3 guide buttons toward middle of page are supposed to open a pop-up form (I used the CTA beta feature). When I click on a button though, it opens in a new blank page with about:blank#blocked in the URL bar. HubSpot support said the buttons don't work with the template I'm using and said I should contact the developer of the template, but that doesn't help me. Are you able to help?

Hey @SArnold13 my answer would be pretty much the same to be honest, it's really difficult to troubleshoot something without having insight into how it was built.

However, when I click those buttons I'm seeing the pop-up form, are you not? If not it might be an issue with your browser or an extension.

Thank you for the response! It ended up being template related. I swapped out the template and that resolved the issue.
