How do I block visitors from a certain country?

Hi everyone,

Since last wednesday (22th of march) there has been an exponential growth in traffic from Nigeria.

I know there are ways to filter out this traffic in analytics afterwards. Last year we experienced the spike in organic traffic from Czechia and the Seychelles.

Unfortunately these people do convert sometimes. It does have its impact on Google Ads (butgets). Is there way to block them before entering our website?

Hey Max!

I'd set geo-specific parameters inside Google Ads.

If that doesn't do the trick or you're getting a lot of OOC traffic from other sources you can also set up smart content rules on your HubSpot landing page(s) that hide the form for these visitors.

Let me know any easy method to block my website in a specific country from accessing. We host our site on Cloudways and using Cloudflare CDN.

Have you tried using GeoIP in your Cloudways account?
